Ecommerce Product Manager

Location: New York

The e-Commerce product manager will develop new e-Commerce-related services and drive hosted e-Commerce revenue

Responsibilities:

• Identify, develop, price, introduce, champion, and support hosted e-Commerce services
• Develop detailed business cases for incremental market opportunities
• Analyze and present findings on e-Commerce competitors' product offerings and market opportunities
• Manage e-Commerce service development activities across functional groups, product areas, and third parties
• Profit & Loss responsibilities for hosted e-Commerce service line
• Evaluate and recommend vendors; negotiate vendor agreements; manage vendor relationships Assist sales with product related issues, (e.g. pricing, sales support)
• Negotiate contracts with clients
• Educate internal and external audiences on hosted e-Commerce applications and solutions
• Coordinate the planning and tracking of customer feedback programs
• Develop e-Commerce sales presentations, sales collateral, and white papers

Qualifications:

B.S in Computer Science, MBA, and 4+ years experience; work experience should include software/web projects and product management responsibilities

Project Manager

Location: New York

The Project Manager will work with our professional services group to provide critical project expertise for Sigma Six clients.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the implementation, enhancement, maintenance and support of reporting, and decision support solutions.
• Define business drivers/imperatives, project components, objectives, deliverables, timeline, and milestones.
• Responsible for managing project resources and budget.
• Establish maintenance procedures and support structure.
• Work with user community and major functional groups to understand their business requirements.
• Prioritize and assign work items.
• Individual will manage a team of technical professionals to provide support and maintenance of existing systems'
• Provide high level (as well as detailed) status briefings to all levels of management.

Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 5 years experience in information systems of which 3 are in technical project management
• Experience in project management of a major business system implementation.
• Internet and/or telecommunication, product/project management, channel marketing, business development.
• Writing, communication, managerial, organizational skills
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.

Must be a team player who enjoys working across organizational boundaries to develop and co-ordinate technical strategy and standards.

Technical Writer

Responsibilities:

• Develop, write and edit materials for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, various technical publications and client presentations.
• Writer must understand the functionality of the product, review technical documents, and interview engineers.
• Will insure technical reviews of the documentation and incorporate changes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• 2+ years experience in writing and editing
• Experience writing end user documentation for software and/or hardware, specifically UNIX (Solaris), NT and web application servers.
• Maintaining web database for controlled documentation systems
• Acting as a liaison between managers, technicians and other staff.
